As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. The hotel is situated in a very convenient yet quiet area. The staff is professional and friendly. We had a very pleasant stay.

The Wellington Hotel is very well located and it is truly a 5 star hotel. The service is impeccable, with great amenities, nightly turndown service, and an excellent executive lounge. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The restaurants in he hotel are great, including a michelin starred restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with lovely big rooms and fantastic service!

The staff was very friendly, the rooms well appointed and the food excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Would stay again. The shuttle was the only confusing thing. We ended up taking a cab to the hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful, luxurious and welcoming. The staff was fantastic--incredibly helpful and generous. This was our first time in Madrid (so we haven't stayed anywhere else) but this was pretty unbeatable and I cannot imagine going anywhere else when we return to the city. I've traveled pretty extensively in Europe, and stayed at some pretty upscale places in London, Paris, Frankfurt, etc., but none offered the same balance of comfort, ease, privacy and fancy.

The location of the hotel is on a quiet street and walkable to all major attractions. There is a parking garage a block away so parking is convenient. The size of the standard twin room is good for two people with not so many luggage. Front desk staff was helpful, restaurant serves decent food. During our stay there are street sidewalk pavement constructions near the hotel but no big deal. Stayed three nights, had a very nice time in Alcala De Henares. No complaints. We had a short stay here, however it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby was lovely and the staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff, rooms, hotel , shuttle to amd back airport

Great stay! Close to decent restaurants, museums, and important destinations. We arrived early before official check-in time and they promptly gave us a room…a huge relief for weary travelers. Service was top-notch.

Ideal location for hopping on/off Metro. *Airport easy access - #8 train to #10 - one stop and short walk to hotel (r/t - 9€). Close to bakeries, wine bars, local grocery store (great wine prices). Room was modern, beds dreamy and desk w comfort chair to work. Service: Friendly & helpful. 6:00AM the restaurant not yet open and my Krupp maker did not work - so desk manager delivered my "perfect coffee" pronto & with a smile! Would definitely stay here again - one night not enough.

The Hotel is unique and cute!!! It’s warming and you feel as if you are in a different area. Very French feel.

Excellent location within walking distance of the more significant sights such as the Royal Palace and Prado museum.

Located in the Gran Vía. Hotel has great restaurants and a great bar.

Great location! Great room size, lots windows with naturan sun , would definitely consider if coming back to Madrid
