We had a wonderful and quick stay! Such a fun walk to Kinbane Castle & the lost sheep baaa’ing at our window was entirely charming. Highly recommend, especially if you like animals :)

Michelle, the manager was warm and welcoming. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfasts: excellent, healthy and tasty We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place! The property is gorgeous and the cottage is a beautiful. Sinead was so nice and accommodating. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling near the area.

Great location! Can easily walk into town and see off of the sites. Very charming accommodation, just as pictured. Fully equipped kitchen. Hosts could not be nicer with recommendations and making sure everything is ok. Amazing breakfast.

Wonderful B&B in a beautiful oceanside town. Well appointed room, large bathroom, and super friendly staff. I was very pleased to have private parking because this place always seemed to be full of visitors and parking looked like a nightmare. I liked having the option of having breakfast delivered to the room. That was a nice touch because I like to have quiet mornings. I would definitely stay here again if I am back in this area.

This place is AMAZING! The views and location were wonderful. Everything you would need for a stay. I only wish we stayed longer. I made friends with the cows, Enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise. There’s even a CASTLE, just a few minutes walk down by the ocean. Nan, the host, even stopped and said hello before we left.

Black Knowe is an excellent choice to stay for glamping in Northern Ireland & close to everything.

The owner of the property was kind and considerate. She made sure the place was so well-stocked and made us feel so welcome it was almost more like staying over at a relative's house (one we like) than a hotel. The in-room amenities included (not an exhaustive list): table w/chairs (four), a sofa, a bathroom sized such that it wouldn't be amiss in the USA (unlike most of Europe's seemingly traditional half-sized bathrooms in which one may only relieve themselves with legs together), tea, sugar,...

Just to name a few of Bay Cottages charms. This was the most delightful stay i can remember. The wonderful meals prepared by Elizabeth deserve their own rating system. We loved them and you'll leave the table both full and looking forward to the next meal. The rooms were very comfortable, it was all i could do to drag my wife out of the bed to go sightseeing. I'd give it 6 stars if i could.

Our room was lovely and just what we needed. The staff was helpful. The only drawback was that they were doing construction and the parking was not right at the hotel. We had to go around the back and up some stairs to park in an adjacent lot which wasn’t very convenient when it came to our luggage. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back another time. There are dining options inside the hotel that you need reservations for. Lovely room with en-suite. First location after 24 days in Ireland thus far that had face cloths. It’s the unexpected, but appreciated extras that add value. Wonderful breakfast offered with cheer.
