"A very pleasant hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking at the hotel. Our room was spotless with excellent bathroom amenities. The room and a double bed and two singles but there was still room to sit and it was comfortable. We were attending the wedding and the food was excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation staying here again."

"The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. "On arrival and on opening the front door, there is an overwhelming fusty smell of damp this emanates from the flat roof in the kitchen and Bathroom damp signs are visible on the ceiling and around the bath sealant. The back door does not open thereby closing off a secondary escape route, there was a note left saying that the door would be repaired that week however it was undated and there are no obvious signs of this work being done. Caroline the property manager was very nice and very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would give is that it would be nice to have screens on the bedroom windows. This may not be applicable for the majority of the year, but it was very warm when we stayed, and with no A/C, we wanted to open...
