"The Hotel is wonderful with as many of the original features on display. The rooms are spacious and in keeping with a period hotel. Excellent bathroom, comfy bed. The windows are old single glazed sash windows and rattle in the wind. However a couple of stratigicly placed teaspoons stopped the rattles. Breakfast is amazing something for everyone. The staff are amazing as the guest is their most important focus. All reflected in the price. Top marks"

Staff were great but in particular a great duo on reception ( didn’t get names) but a blonde lady so accommodating allowing us to leave bags before checking in, so we could explore Rye and an Australian male that impressed us in returning a missed phone call before arriving and ensuring we had a pleasant stay.
