"A nice place to see the aurora, and the accommodation is excellent with a tub for bathing. The only downside is that the lights on the bathtub keep flashing, so I had to turn them off."

"We stayed in a cabin that was perfect, clean, all linens and towels were provided, enough room for everything we needed, nice heat, and fast wifi, all right in front of the lava fields. The only downside is having to walk across the (main) street to use the shower and toilet. They were clean with hot water, so no complaints. They also have tent sites, rv sites with electric/water/dumping, and a hostel. Really cant beat it for being in the heart of Myvatn, not only right next to all the...

"This place is a gem. Located at the front of a peninsula the water views are wonderful. The front desk person was also very friendly and helpful.
A couple of recommendations:
Enjoy their deck. Very lovely to have a drink and soak in the peace
Ask for an odd numbered room, they’re the ones looking at the sea
The diner across the street is really good and reasonably priced."
