"Fantastic hotel, you can’t get a better location for touring central London. View from the lobby is straight over Westminster Bridge, to parliament and Big Ben. Few minutes walk to London Eye. The lifts, reception and corridors are quite dark and dimly lit, in order to give a certain ambience, which makes it a little difficult to see where to hold your key card/phone to activate the lift and open your bedroom door. (But looks very stylish!). Checking-in at reception desks, while looking very sleek and professional, seems to take an age. Typically taking 20 minutes per guest, even though the reservations are pre-booked. I just don’t understand what they need to tap in on the computer that takes so long. But in contrast, checking out was instant, just clicking a button on the app. Swimming pool was great, but you have to book a 30 minute time slot in advance, and can only book one slot per day. Left luggage facilities are fantastic. We left out bags there both ahead of check-in, and after check-out, do that we were free to wander around London without struggling with heavy bags. Would definitely recommend. If this hotel is too pricey, there are a few Premier Inns nearby. You cannot beat this location. "

"I chose room with queen bed and microwave. Expected it to be very small but it had pull out sofa, mini refrigerator, plates, utensils, a desk/table and Coffee maker but that wasn't necessary because hotel has a lounge open 24 hrs with a Miele coffee maker. Shower pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Location was down 3 buildings from trafalgar square. There is a Tesco store on corner. At end of street in other direction is subway station and a walkable bridge over the Thames. Cabaret at the Kit Kat is on that corner too. Walked to Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace, King's Guard Horses and Fortnam and Mason. Staff was very kind and attentive. I arrived early after overnight flight and was shown to private changing room with shower to freshen up until room was available. Definitely would stay there again."

"Great location on a quiet street right off the Royal Mile. Steps away from St Giles Cathedral and very close to Grassmarket. Easy walk to Waverley station. Would advise using a cab to the hotel if you have large bags as uphill walk can be tough. Much easier to go downhill. Rooms were great and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."
