"A great choice for exploring Merida. It’s not quite the 5 star hotel it’s listed as on some sites, but it is still excellent. Nice big rooms with character and good bathrooms. The pool is lovely (it’s also green: perfectly safe and lots of people were in it, but it was green). The bar isn’t a bar - it’s a cafe and it’s not open that late (for Spain) but that doesn’t really matter a the square out front has loads of bars. Stored my luggage on check out fine. Online check in didn’t work but front desk were good/quick. 15 minutes walk from bus station, 10 from train station, easy walk to the Roman theatre and other sites."

So they had to add extra fees for her and for parking. Even after I showed them the reservation confirmation clearly showing 2 people on it, they insisted I pay extra fees. But the location was convenient. "
