"Vores ophold var ikke særligt langt. Ca. 40 minutter. Billederne er så forældede at det var helt uacceptabelt. Selve indgangen ligner ikke engang det billede der bliver brugt på hotels.com Første øjekast.: Sternbrædder hænger ud fra bygningen. og mangler maling for alvor. Intet er som på billederne. Kantfliser indendørs er faldet af og der er pudsstøv i indgangen. Poolen var møj beskidt. Værelset var støvet og beskidt. Der er døre imellem værelserne, som ligner noget fra en svingerklub....

"I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Charles. This was my first visit to Budapest; the hotel is conveniently located on a major bus route, and thus was a good base from which to explore the city. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is generous and excellent. My room was quite comfortable. As the hotel is located on a major thoroughfare, the rooms that face that road are quite noisy. I requested a quieter room and was immediately accommodated. I appreciated the staff's kind, efficient response, and slept well for the rest of my stay."
