What a lovely find! Visiting family in Julich and found this wonderful hotel via geographic search. The host is charming, extremely helpful and makes the most divine breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Bed was comfy. Room was very clean. Host took us to our room and set the A/C on cold because we are Americans from FL....he had vacationed in FL and knew we wanted it cold. My stay at Chambre d’Amis by Alix, with Luca and Glen was by far the best experience I’ve had on my travels this year. They showed care and tenderness, genuinely were concerned about my comfort and enjoyment and were generous in their answers to my questions. The property is just gorgeous, a slice of heaven in a busy city. All of those factors combined made this stay feel like my home away from home. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property with amazing help and insight to Brugge from Hans and his wife. They helped us every step of the way with canal tours, buying chocolate, booking dinners, and just exploring Brugge. Being in a castle is unique by itself. First impressions were not as expected, fake flowers everywhere, a bar with a kitschy look, a spa with no pool, an outdoor area like a beer garden, it felt a bit like in an amusement park. Bathroom with a bathtub, difficult to step into and very slippery, lots of stairs to climb. Amazing

The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect.

Room exceeded expectations. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of food items to select from.

I would like to mention the front desk agent name Nasim and Visalia the bellman ( I’m not exactly sure of the spelling so sorry) they were both so helpful and really helped me to make sure my stay was a great experience.

We stayed in Room 319, a mini suite with a bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom. The two major rooms had a television, two windows, and views of the Belfry Tower (also overlooking the roof tops of neighboring residences. The hotel is located on the canal where you can get on a boat to ride the canal. Staff were very helpful and all who we encountered spoke English very well. We thought the room and hotel was excellent and one we will rebook on a return trip.

Staff was friendly. The place was really cute. It was hard to maintain the air temperature in our rooms but that was the only minor issue we had. The location was perfect as it was walkable.

Attention for the owner Davy is amazing, he has the detail to send a txt asking at what time we will make the check in just to have all perfect, and give me the detail of how to get the hotel because the GPS its not exactly, beside that we make the check in, nice room. Breakfast very good, excellent quality of food and nice place
