Everything about this hotel was perfect - the grounds, the buildings, the furnishing, the food, the staff. The setting is near an apple orchard and landscaping beautiful. The building is over 100 years old and totally refurbished to beauty and comfort. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings.

Nowadays the rooms in motels are SO tiny, you almost feel claustrophobic, but Cumberland's rooms are large and comfortable, well supplied, clean, and windows with cross-ventilation. Even the bathrooms are large. We were very impressed, enjoyed our 9-day stay there immensely, and would definitely book there again. Solid place to stay. Kind of 50 to 60's vibe to it, although updated. Park right at your entry. Stayed in room #4, which was a end unit, all units are ground level. 3 nights in mid-November 2025.
Negatives:
Wi-fi was a bit weaker & only working 50% of the time, Too much outside light shining in at night - particularly on the car parking side, awkward hand sanitizer dispenser instead of soap at sink, No USB ports.
