"The staff at Serenity Lodge were extremely friendly and helpful. Angie, in particular, went above and beyond to get our room ready quickly and arrange our tour of the Huacachina oasis. Her excellent service was greatly appreciated.
The pool area was lovely, although the water was quite cold. Another disappointment was the inconsistent shower temperature. My first shower had no warm water, and my second was lukewarm at best.
Lunch was okay, although I experienced some digestive discomfort afterward, possibly from trying an unfamiliar dish. I would have appreciated more basic menu options, such as a simple hamburger, for guests who prefer familiar foods.
Overall, Serenity Lodge has a welcoming atmosphere and wonderful staff, especially Angie. With improvements to the hot water, pool temperature, and menu variety, it could provide a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience."
