Excellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service. We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasn’t. The whole Peking duck was arranged haphazardly on the plate, the skin was not really crispy, and the taste experience was completely lackluster. As to the main dining room the service...

Truly a wonderful hotel and excellent value!

We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. Excellent and clean hotel. Breakfast was great and had a variety each morning, check in staff was awesome, housekeeping was awesome, and everyone was friendly. The filtered water was especially nice.

Checked in a little wary, hotel is right off the highway in an industrial area reachable by a poorly paved access road, BUT the lobby was clean and updated, the front desk staff very friendly and helpful, allowed early check-in, offered us a choice of rooms, pointed out the 24 hour coffee bar, and were just great. We had avoided Best Western for years because of a bad experience years ago, but were pleasantly suprised this past weekend. The Hotel in Celina Ohio was clean, well taken care of, great breakfast, friendly staff, spacious clean room, nice view of a pond, quiet, comfortable beds, large clean bathroom, nice desk and chair, 2 comfy chairs to watch TV, fridge & microwave, it was everything we could have asked for, and the price was fair.

Hotel is well appointed with beautiful rooms and an elegant, luxurious bathroom. The staff was helpful and the hotel is in the middle of the best shopping abd restaurants in Chicago! Wull definitely be my "go to" hotel in Chitown!

This is a really nice hotel. The vibe is cool. You can walk around the various corridors and lower level to see cool art. The onsite restaurant is excellent! Great service, ambiance and food. The room was very clean, comfortable and bright. We definately will be back & we highly recommend!

Our experience at this hotel was marvelous. So much attention to the history of the building, and the staff all shared a real appreciation and love for the place. I felt like I was in Europe, where everything matters, not just how things LOOK. From the old tiles, to the glass panels, the filagree on the iron railings, the furnishings, it was just all so quiet, clean and relaxed, with great choices for places to it right in house.
