"The Hotel was a welcome overnight stay after a gruelling drive but the absolute cream on the cake was the evening meal at the restaurant. Has to be included in my top ten meals ever, not just art on a plate but what an eating experience. It would be worth driving for hours on end just to eat their again."

"We stayed here for a night as it is well-placed for a visit to George Sand's house at Nohant. This is a traditional French country hotel although we were allocated a room in the modern extension across the road. Good and secure parking. Friendly reception. Room was spacious with access to gardens, fixtures and fittings in bathroom perhaps in need of a slight refurbishment.
