"My overnight impromptu stay was better than expected. I was in town for a baseball tournament and decided to get a room last minute vs driving home 2hrs just to get back on the road at 6am to drive another 2hrs. Especially after sitting in 85° heat all day. The folks at the check-in were courteous and clear with the hotel procedures and amenities. "The front desk personnel were all very pleasant, and were happy to give me a hair dryer when I found there was none in our room. The beds were very comfy and the room was mostly clean, but I found it very odd that there were large, popped kernels of popcorn on the floor near the door. They were hard to miss, so I'm not sure if the room was vacuumed or not before our stay. The breakfast had a decent selection, with something for everyone: scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, instant...

"I booked the hotel online the night before with no problems. When I got to the hotel the next evening, it was closed--there was yellow tape around the entrance and a closed sign on the door. There was no one there to ask about what happened (fire??), so I had to leave. It was sad because I really like to stay here. "
