"Staff very friendly. Hotel"

"Very nice river view in our room. Only issue is that shuttle service not available to and from Airport. There are two shuttles on property but are only used for airport staff and not hotel guests. Even if there was a nominal charge we should have been able to use shuttle as taxi service is very unreliable and lengthy. We waited over an hour at airport for taxi."

"We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom in June 2026. The room was very old fashioned looking with old furniture. The mattresses were like cement. The room had bugs crawling around in the bathroom area and in the tub. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The microwave was hiding inside a cupboard on a shelf about one inch above the ground. Really hard to use it when it's basically sitting on the floor. The refrigerator was also on the same level, and it was permanently set at a higher than normal temp (...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. It was so nice to be able to park at the hotel early in the day so we could visit the town and ride the train even though we weren't checking in until later that evening. Restaurants and shops are very close, everything is walkable. Our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"The room smelled horribly of marijuana. I used a full can of Febreze and it wouldn’t help. They offered to switch me rooms, but I had booked three together for a family vacation and they were only willing to move one. Breakfast was not great. The outdoor patio with a fire pit picture was extremely enticing. Too bad there were no cushions on the furniture. What chairs there were there were worn out and the place looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned, not what I expected from a Springhill suites...

"I booked the hostel room. It started with a rude and impatient receptionist that was more busy running around vaping than trying to help. When I did ask for help she said she is not a manager and can't help me and was just impatient and rude. As for the room... You get some linen to cover your bed. There is a sheet and then some sort of quilt (not an actual blanket or comforter) that is so smooth that it never stays on the actual sheet. I could not stay covered with that thing and was cold...

"The property is small and convenient to Durango. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. The hot tub is right on the road without privacy. Room was very clean and cute. Small but nice. "Old style motel on Durango’s main road with southwest decor. I slept in the little “cozy” room filled with a queen size bed which was perfect for my one night stay. Little fridge and electric kettle for tea or pour-over coffee in the room. The office staff was welcoming and helpful. Very clean. Little did we know what was awaiting us; broken light switch that you could have stuck your finger in the wiring, missing tiles in bathroom, tore valance, bottle of beer and trash in closet and if you want warm water turn it on way before you want to use it! Pool and hot tub in need of repair not able to use. Laundry out of order. Ice machine locked up after 8p.m. Staff showed no concern when I showed the pictures of the room and had not rooms to move...
