Mbazo is a magical place with the amazing staff and attention to detail. The food is beyond amazing with fantastic drinks. Every single staff member is smiling and looking to make your stay at the resort perfect. The rooms are beyond fantastic and the safari experiences with Philip our guide were beyond what we could imagine. We absolutely loved our stay and will hope to come back again soon!

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Where else can you start your day with a beautiful outdoor shower followed by a delicious breakfast in the garden including a visit by a giraffe just a few feet away? We would love to return back sometime soon.

Such a magical experience. The staff was incredible and really was the reason this was a memorable trip. Hayden was an incredible guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and outgoing nature made each day more enjoyable. We saw all big 5 including seeing all 5 during one day. We were very lucky to experience a lion pride kill as well. Also, the food was incredible at all meals. Can’t recommend this place enough! Incredible value overall for what you get.

Simbavati Hilltop is top notch! From the 9 times per day (yes, that is NINE times) that you are fed, to the staff, game drives, views and rooms! Not only do you have your own plunge pool overlooking the river, but there is also a shared, larger pool. There is also a daybed at the room, outdoor shower, fully stocked complimentary mini bar and very comfortable bed! We saw hippo and elephant from our room. Beautiful game reserve with all the amenities for cycling and hiking. They also have a nice pool and a tennis court. The food was very good and the luxury tent where we stayed was very comfortable, with an outdoor hot tub that was very pleasant. A perfect place to do some sports or just relax in the middle of nature.

We had a very large canvas tent with multiple rooms and a thatched roof. The bed was very comfortable and netted to keep out flying critters.The front balcony overlooked a savanna type landscape where animal viewing is certainly possible, though we only saw them on our game drive. Very tasty buffet options were provided at dinner and breakfast. Our stay at 57 Waterberg was truly unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. From the moment we arrived, there was an incredible sense of warmth, hospitality, and genuine care. The lodge is tucked back in a quiet part of the estate, and the owner is a very, very kind woman. When I come back to Hoedspruit, I’ll stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. Everything was amazing. The food was delicious. The safari rides were unforgettable. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable. I was 6 months pregnant when I went and they were able to accommodate to me. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful.

We stayed in what are called "tents" but are actually much nicer including a complete bathroom, minibar, a/c, overhead fan, etc. The staff was wonderful, nice small pool, food good. Oh, the animals -- unbelievable. We stayed 4 nights at roughly $515/night, worth every penny, and had a great time on all the drives. Didn't get bored for a second.

Marataba is different from other safari lodges. First there are only two lodges in the whole park which means no crowds. Game drives where incredible with Big 5 viewings, but specially one of the 5 (won't Say for conservation issues) is everywhere. The mounitain and the view just makes this place magic. Staff Will do everything in their power to make You feel like Home.

We were pleasantly suprised with this gem near Vaalwater. Spacious accommodation and lots of entertainment for the kids. Wiuld definitely recommend. Affirdable price!

My family enjoyed our stay at the Ranch resort. The golf chalet was extremely spacious, well laid out, and clean. We were greeted in the chalet with fruits and 2 bottles of wine- very nice touch. The hotel is also very lush with lovely plants and trees all over. The only down side was that the activities were a bit pricey. Otherwise we would definitely stay at the resort again.
