Very friendly, very helpful. When our driver couldn't make it to the Casa to take us to Santa Marta airport for our flight to Bogota, Marisela took us both in our car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to drop us off at the airport. Even though we don't speak much Spanish at all, her entire staff took the effort to communicate with us in English throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and you have the choice of tenting on the beach to common dorm type accomodation to a couple of rooms...

Beautiful two bedrooms apartment, with all you might need to cook and dine in. The view of the Santa Marta Bay is nothing but amazing. The staff is very friendly. I'll be back!

We used the tour service located in the lobby. We were told it included transportation to boat and then back to hotel. We we're abondoned when boat returned and had to find transportation back to hotel on our own. Don't use tour service!!

Mundo Nuevo is a very special magical place, which is why I went back for the second time and plan to be back again one day. The view and energy of the place is incredible. I feel at peace being here. All the staff is very friendly and Yessica is very nice and helpful. The food is AMAZING, very good quality vegetarian food. So if you're a meat lover, you may want to bring your own meat and request them to cook it for you (which one of the guys at the hostel did do that, and they cooked it...

I truly enjoyed my stay at Alko Cotona. The bed was suuuuper comfortable, the room immaculately clean, location is perfect (right by main drag for eating and drinking as well as only a few minutes from the beach!) — rooftop pool and restaurant/bar also great, with a view of the ocean/marina on one side and the mountains on the other. Hotel is an oasis! Beautiful, boutique hotel. We struggled a little to communicate with the staff, but they were all incredibly friendly and the service was wonderful. The bathroom in the standard room is not separate, so you can see into the shower from the bed, regardless, comfortable, well-kept room.

I highly recommend staying at Casa Verde—every part of my stay was great. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and you received a large portion, the amenity areas were very clean and well maintained, and the staff was always friendly and helpful! If I visit Santa Marta, I would stay here again!

Excelent spot in downtown Santa Marta. Restaurants are close by, theres an "EXITO" store; (mini walmart) 2 blocks away if you want to get supplies for your stay. Overall, the hotel was perfect for our stay!

Wonderful hotel with great room. A/c works well and keeps the place nice and cold. Great restaurants. If you go, you will have a great time. My wife and I will be back.

This is the 2nd time i’ve stayed here. I got suite #10 that has a private terrace and small pool. it was incredible and absolutely romantic. Great location, great breakfast and all the staff are wonderful!

Great place, Only a walk away to restaurants and board walk. We had the pent house unit and if it was not for the wind we would have slept on the balcony! If I ever go back to Santa Marta I will visit this hotel again.

We stayed four nights and loved our experience. The breakfast was a highlight (made-to-order with coffee, juice, fruit, and local specialties). The owners helped us navigate activities in the area. We really enjoyed our time in the hammock and views from the upper terrace. *If you stay, ask about buying some homemade fruit preserves.
