Loved the attention to detail and the very attentive staff

Newly remodeled into a hotel. Proprioters spoke decent English. Suite I stayed in was fully size apartment with kitchen, high-tech shower and large bath tub. Easy walking distance to 2 grocery stories and a bakeri. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Anker is a lovely hotel situated in the historic part of Marktheidenfeld. The interiors are nicely decorated with memorabilia from the family who owns and runs the hotel. The people are friendly and helpful, while the rooms are clean, large, and well-equipped.

Second stay at this hotel (different owner) and it is as beautiful as we remembered. The hotel is located in a forest along the Main river. There are plenty of trails that lead to quaint farming towns, and wind along the river. Bikes are available for rent. Our room was spacious and clean - very comfortable. Our stay at the lake hotel was simply wonderful. The room was very spacious, cozy, and tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was excellent. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the evening meals were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the sauna, the hotel’s private beach right on the lake, and our large terrace. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.

All good. For a senior citizen like us, the beds were low, but very comfortable.
