"I had a wonderful 2 nights at blue zebra and wished I could have stayed longer. "PLEASE go elsewhere if you have the choice. Poor room service, the restaurant does not have a good decent menu. However, the people working at the hotel are kind and try their best with the limited tools and training they have been empowered with.There is no shuttle service attached to the hotel. You need to make personal arrangements or pay for a taxi."

"The staff are all very nice and helpful. They were in the process of remodeling a wing so clean was a challenge. Then their hoover was broken so the poor staff were sweeping rugs using s dust broom. I really look forward to the new mattresses they promise in the superior rooms as they just installed in the standard rooms. Breakfast is eggs your way then dinner type savories. "The rooms were big with a large bathroom and shower. Two beds pushed together to make one large bed. Bed was very comfortable. Linen was very comfortable as well. Each room has its own dedicated wifi which is the best I ever had in Lilongwe. Loved the monkeys that seem to have the run of the place at times. Makes for a great show. Had my morning coffee on the front porch while the monkeys gave me a wonderful show. Breakfast was amazing and you can get your eggs cooked anyway you like. Was very delicious. The restaurant has lots of food choices including a large selection of Indian cuisine. Very close to Lilongwe city center. I highly recommend Woodlands should you need a place to stay. You can’t go wrong here. Thanks to the staff and management. Job well done. "
