We had a great stay at the Fairview Inn in Jackson, MS! It is a perfect stop for a relaxing hotel, giving a feel of down south home at every point. From the greeting (and personal orientation/tour) by the staff upon check-in, enjoying specialty cocktails at the Library Bar, the clean and well decorated comforts in the suite, the family 24 hour (self serve snacks, water, coffee) kitchenette, the kind personal service.... we had nothing but a great experience. The only bad thing was the pool was closed for 2 days we were there due to it needed to be shocked due to some algae from some of the people that were staying there.

I loved the decor and ambiance of this charming hotel. It was comfortable and so very pleasing in appearance. The lobby was like a beautiful living room with a fire going in the fireplace and a vase of flowers on the table. The first thing you see when the elevator doors open are two cozy wing chairs within a small library setting, a welcoming place to sit and relax and look through the books or drink coffee. And our room was beautiful, with french pane windows overlooking the Mississippi river...

This is the cutest, most elegant place to stay you’ve never heard of. Tucked away on the edge of downtown Jackson. Large rooms with living space. Gorgeous outdoor space for drinks from the bar or the breakfast buffet. Or visit the rooftop to watch the sun go down. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing and stately hotel! We truly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. The rooms are smaller but well appointed and they made great use of the space. If you know the history of the hotel you can see why the rooms are smaller. The bar and lounge area is quite nice and Cora’s restaurant has a very reasonably priced cooked to order breakfast. The only downside to the hotel was the WiFi. I think the location of my room made it difficult to receive the signal on a regular basis. The staff did make...

The people that worked there. Friends came to help bury my dad. The hotel was our bastion from chaos. The facility helped the fellas take care of me. U had to be there.

Me and my wife are an average income family and never in my life have i been treated so well like i was the President himself. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Gulfport MS area prices are fairly inexpensive and the service you will receive is 5 star quality. I personally have found the hotel i will forever stay at with this hotel outstanding job done by the entire staff

The hotel is centrally located, and all places of interest were in close proximity. The hotel staff members were smiling and friendly and me feel welcome to be there. The room was A+ for cleanliness, and I will definitely return for a leisurely stay. Food and bar services were excellent.

We loved Dunleith it was beautiful and the people were friendly. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Just wish they offered a hot breakfast.
