Historic Hotels in Mjini Magharibi Region from AED 310

"Great location, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, beautiful historic building."

"I stayed only 1 night there and had to check out next day but as the ferry to Dar Es Salaam was at 16.00h, I asked for 2 hours late check out and I was refused by manager who was saying that they are fully booked but when I wanted to book another day, then he said they have 1 available room. You see what I mean,he could say I can not let you check out late unless you pay but he is not kind enough to be honest. Not a good experience at all!"

"Hotelet finns inte. Det är nedstängt."

"It is nice to stay there."

"Good clean room in the heart of Stone Town but away from all the tourist shops and touts. Quiet room with food a/c. Helpful staff."

"This is a hotel of opposites. Great location in stone town but down a dark alley you can’t quite drive to the door. Helpful reception but we’d booked 3 rooms and they initially gave us 2. Lovely clean spacious rooms but others with no view or very noisy. Wonderful old character but random electrical sockets - could only have the (empty) fridge OR the kettle OR the light plugged in. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and shower gel but no soap to wash hands at the basin. Great terrace for...

"I was staying just one night to see stone town. It was well located to walk around, close to everything. The staff was great! The room was clean. Good WiFi. Breakfast good. Water pressure good. Reasonable rate. I would stay there again."

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Al Minar. Good value for money, located close to all the 5 star hotels, but this one is affordable. Especially the family room which fitted us nicely."
