Stayed here for one week and enjoyed it. The hotel is on a fairly busy beach in Stone Town. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were sometimes good and sometimes not but the salad bar was great. It is safe to walk around Stone Town with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, fruits and spices for sale. There is a nice ice cream store right across from the hotel and although most places take US$ there is a money exchange very close by (on the other side of the building tunnel with good rates). We loved our stay at Kholle House in Stonetown. The hotel was Beautiful and the perfect escape to after a long day exploring. All The staff was fantastic in helping us get the arrangements prior to arriving and then helping us with a couple of the activities we wanted to do. We highly recommend.

Staff was undoubtedly the most considerate, best trained, thoughtful and improvisational of anywhere I have ever stayed, bar none and that includes lots of Shangri-Las, Peninsulas, Four Seasons, Ritzes and so on. It's a small mostly tourist hotel but I had friendly conversations -- and unusually creative, thoughtful and staff-initiated contacts on items from meals to hallway gadgets to knowing how to light a photo of me in the dining room to walking and shopping. The rooms are great; spacious, clean and well-stocked. Free wireless also made things nice. Our room was on the pool side and the view was still great. If you are looking for a clean and good place to stay and for comfort in stonetown, i would deffinitely recommend this hotel. It is in the middle of the town yet feels like away from all that dirt and crowd. Best choice and quality. But exchange rates are very low in this hotel when compared to anywhere in zanzibar.

In the old Stonetown, very easy to get lost in this old town but we were very close to beach so found it a bit easier to get back to the hotel. Great restaurant on top where we ate on arrival at night and turned out to be the best of all the places we ate afterwards. Beds were comfy, good international TV, bathroom and shower very nice. We had no view at all so understand we should have asked for upper floors but did not spend much time in the room

WOW, the property is very relaxing. It’s very beautiful and the staff , I mean there perfect from the manager to the waiters/bartenders and women that keep the rooms immaculate. They treated me so well, the food is amazing and the views from the bungalows are very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a beautiful experience of Zanzibar and the spectacular ocean views it has to offer.

It’s excellent but expensive price

The mosquitoes were terrible. I recommend that every bed should have a net for mosquitoes/ The restaurant should have more staff with more English knowledge

Beautiful clean and modern hotel. Right at the airport. Staff very kind and work hard. Food was delicious but some of the servers could use a little more training but they were very pleasant. Downside is they only provide 1 key card this can be an inconvenience if you’re traveling with someone who remains in the room. The key card controls the power for the room and you need it to operate the elevator. Therefore, you have to keep asking front desk to swipe their key card. Otherwise, hotel is...

Loved our stay at the tempo b&b! The staff was amazing, especially the two men that helped us with our bags to the room. The dining room is right on the beach so you can have your breakfast staring out at the ocean. From our studio room, we were on the top floor and had a nearly 360 degree water view and we were right in the middle of the touristy part of town. The only confusing part is that you check in at the main Tempo Hotel - but they help you get your bags to the b&b which is maybe a two...

Wonderful staff that were helpful and accommodating in many ways. I needed to store my luggage for a few extra days and they graciously agreed and it was kept safe. No elevator, but the porters were so helpful during check-in/out that it wasn’t a problem. The breakfast area, pool and beach were beautiful and overall this was a very convenient location. Room was huge and clean with adjustable air conditioning. I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

This was a great place to stay. The food was good and the rooms were excellent. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with anything we needed. The pool was a nice benefit to relax in after a hot day out in the city. I would highly recommend staying here.

this hotel is amazing especially considering the cost. my initial hotel was cancelled on me at the last minute. thank heavens for that. this place is clean, close to amenities and extremely comfortable. we loved the bed. Food: the dinner was great. we only ate it once but the chef is amazing. we enjoyed the dinner. The breakfast on the other hand was just normal. we really did not enjoy it much but it was good enough. Bed: its no easy to find a comfy bed when travelling and this had just that....
