I had booked for another stay in October but canceled the reservation. The only good thing about the stay was that they gave me a full refund and offered to discount my other stay. "The hotel room was horrible. It was bug infested, and the bathrooms were not clean. There was actually debris between the flat sheet and fitted sheet. I had been driving all day so I was exhausted. Therefore I wasn’t able to leave the property and purchase a different hotel room. Which I should have because I got very little sleep. And I slept on top of the covers and towels to avoid the filth. I am in the transportation industry so I travel very often. Therefore I see bad rooms on occasions and...

"We were so blown away by this property from the time we arrived til we left! It was so clean and comfortable! The bed was super comfortable! Susan was amazing and responded quickly. We were provided with water, snacks and ice! We had all the comforts of home! We enjoyed a quiet evening on the property! The owl’s nest was immaculate and decorated to perfection! We will definitely stay here next year! Thank you Susan"

"The house is beautiful and very well furnished. The kitchen had everything a cook could want. The back yard and enclosed porch were both beautiful and useful. The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of downtown. Make sure to visit Cole's Coffee and Icecream Shop. It's wonderful. Dee, the hostess, was a delight."

"This was my second time staying here. An excellent property and friendly hosts. Btw, I recommend The Shack Kitchen and Bar for meals. Note, this is different from The Shack, which is closed and will confuse your GPS."
