Owners Gina and Duncan were terrific. They immediately made us feel at home, offer us beverages and snacks, and did everything to make us feel right at home. We have a wonderful time in the solitude and peaceful surroundings. The kanagroos watching us unload our car were an added nature surprise.

The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable eg. They phoned restaurants to make reservations on our behalf. They provided a lovely basket of fresh fruits, muesli, yogurts, bagels, eggs, bacon and all kinds of coffee, teas and assorted chocolates/truffles. Relaxing and delightful experience.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed! Noel greeted us and showed us around the property and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. There has been a lot of attention to detail including home made food in the fridge and pantry and the fluffiest robes ever. The cabin was in pristine condition and the local kookaburras kept us company each morning.

Amenities exceeded all expectations. This is a hidden gem in the hinterlands. It is peaceful, quiet and the couple running the establishment really cares about your experience. The setting entices you to hang out and enjoy your surroundings.

I could not have hoped for a better place to stay than this property. It was a great base for my stay in Mooloolaba. Check-in was easy with Claire at the front office. Shadow, the house cat, was a charmer but not pushy if you aren’t a cat person. The energy of the place and people made me feel welcome.
The room was spotless, and the A/C was super efficient. Because the property is close to a couple of main roads, there is traffic noise at times. The A/C helps by allowing windows to be closed at...

We were very well received by Lisa and Nick, the new owners of the lodge — both are very friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
Even though we stayed just for the weekend, we were able to rest and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.
The cabins are simple yet cozy, and the place is beautifully located — allowing a great connection with nature while still being close to the Sunshine Coast city centre and only about 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of Noosa.
