For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. Complete relaxation in a beautiful setting. The villas are comfortable and quite big. The open air concept gives you that feeling of being in nature, but in a private setting. The entire grounds give way to a stress-free experience. The staff are helpful and courteous; they went over and above to tend to our needs. This traditional shophouse-home is so beautifully restored that it could be considered a destination in itself. Staff is so kind and considerate I felt right at home. Guesthouse fully deserves its good reputation

The property is in a somewhat desolate area, so you'll need your own car or willingness to take a taxi everywhere. The rooms are clean and spacious but there are already signs of poor maintenance throughout. No complaints about the stay though; we had both a connecting room (king with two twin beds) as well as a deluxe queen (two queen beds) and found them very comfortable for our family with two small children. I was impress with the friendliness of staff and speed of check in. Overall experience was satisfied and wonderful. I would like to compliment the front liner Hema and Yanti for being helpful all time.There was one kind of stink smell when the air conditional was turned off, reported to the front desk, even they unable to find out the problem, but they took effort to reduce the smell. Good location. Hard to walk in Ipoh with uneven sidewalks. Just take a Grab for 5-6 ringgits. The gym is ok but VERY hot and stuffy with no AC and no fan. Gym is essential useless. Better to take the weights out to the hallway to work out. Also the pool is closed except if you stay in the suites. Locked all the time. So NO real pool.
