I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Mondovi . Barbara, the hotel owner , will tell you the story of this historic building and their restoration efforts. Since Barbara and her husband are in book publishing business too, each room has its own theme from a book. The theme of my room is little prince. I was so impressed how the room was decorated . This place was amazing. Chirac, the owner on site made us feel as though we were her best friends. She arranged tours of a few local vineyards and we were shocked when we discovered that they were set up privately for just my wife and myself. The hotel itself was beautiful,clean and extremely comfortable. We have already told many of our friends that if they go to this area of Italy this is a must go to place to stay. A glorious setting in the Piedmont countryside. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, the suite spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast food delicious. It’s a shame there isn’t an evening restaurant on-site as I’m sure it would be equally fantastic, but there are wonderful restaurants available close by. Will definitely return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Uve Wine Bar in La Morra. The room was lovely and well-equipped with everything we needed--including our own private balcony where we could share a glass of wine at the end of the day.
