"My birthday stay was one of two halves. At the weekend we hosted my grown up children and their young families, totalling 9 of us and 2 dogs. With a choice of games console, pool, dolls house, darts, wendy house, table tennis and hot tub (and more which we didn't use) the children were always busy and parents happy. Eating was straight forward with such a long table and plenty of toddler friendly plates etc. Dogs were also well catered for with their own box of supplies. Things don't always go...

"We had a great stay in this lovely area. The hotel building is full of character and the owners were so welcoming, we chatted about all sorts of topics over several cups of tea and some cake. Catering to a vegan diet was appreciated and we felt more like we were visiting friends than staying in a typical hotel. The games room was also great fun and nice to have use of to play some pool, before retiring to our comfy bedroom. "
