"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. Perfect, if you want something different from the standard resorts. Reasonably easy access to most of the attractions in the south (particularly...

"This is a cottage, hidden in the forest with an amazing view from inside the house and outside on the patio. Listening to birds, looking at the flying fox and white-tailed tropicbird, a gorgeousplce to stay for some days. Hiking in the morning and swimming in the sea in the afternoon. A place to calm down."

It was on the beach, with beautiful ocean views, a safe and comfortable setup, and all the amenities we could need. The layout was ideal —3 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite and ocean view. We especially loved the indoor-outdoor living space with the large covered deck where we spent most of our time. The property is gated from both the road and the beach, so we always felt secure. We stayed in the main villa,...
