Great service and staff. The beach house and free shuttle to the beach and the facilities at the house was 5 stars. Room was excellent veey comfortable and clean. The food wasn't that good but it is not expensive comparing to many in Mauritius with same or lower stars. Overall I think this is one of the best stays I had in many countries.

Good location close to Airport, especially for late night arrivals to avoid long distance travels. Nice natural surroundings and also close to beach areas. Very friendly people and good breakfast for the day start.

The staff is amazing and the service really makes this a 5 star property.

The experience of sleeping under the stars, was very unique. The rooms, are really beautiful. The dining is really good too. The property has nice paths to walk

So if you are studying online reviews you may be asking yourself, what is the South of Mauritius like, how is the beach at this resort, how far from airport, what are the restaurants like, will I like 'the orange and green bright design' rooms. These are questions which we asked repeatedly, and despite some answers in other reviews, left for Sofitel So with a little bit of curiosity whether all will be fine. What can I say? The South is the real Mauritius. Less urban, less developed, more...

Very friendly and hospitable staff, amazing facilities. Food a little overpriced but totally worth the money. Only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time in the resort.

Excellent experience with so many amenities included in the all-in package. We even enjoyed massages as part of the deal (nice surprise). Food was excellent with several choices and access to another resort next door. Be sure to visit Joe and the Coco Shack - he is awesome.

I loved the homeliness of the place, the owner Husna allowed me to stay till my taxi arrived at 4pm, general checkout is 11am, that was nice of her and I appreciated that a lot. She was nice to talk to as well. Regards to her

Sunset Villa was my home in La Gaulette for a week. A spacious location and kind hosts who were extremely helpful. I will try to return to this magical location one day.

Amazing

Yes fresh meniu and air conditioning works great

Love this place!! We stayed here for my birthday and had the best time ever! Beautiful property in a paradise setting. Excellent service--you can text the front desk for anything you need, restaurant reservations, ice, problems, requests, etc. The seafood restaurant and bar were really nice. I picked this property for the beauty, location close to airport and the included unlimited water sports: kayak, SUP, catamaran, laser boat, padalo. (maybe more I'm forgetting, we had our own snorkel gear)...

Extremely personable owner

Great spot! Very clean

Residence Les Bambous is on a little side street in Mahebourg, about a 5 minute ride from the new mall at Vallon Bo (close to the airport, but on the opposite side of the island from the capital and most of the resorts in the north). It is family owned, with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It's not luxurious but it is very affordable, and comfortable, with a nice bed, hot water in the shower, and a ceiling fan to keep the room cool.

An amazing villa, we were a family of 5 people, had a great time, the pool is perfect, location is just brautiful and close to several restaurants and many attractions. The staf was very kind and helpful.

Loved it! Beautiful 16 room hotel on a gorgeous beach. I stayed three night by myself but quickly made friend at this small hotel. They upgraded me to a comfort ocean view room and let me do a late check-out. Rooms are very nice, staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is small as it is in a neighborhood of private homes, so if you like long beach walks this is not for you. A gorgeous reef is a 1 min swim from the beach and they provide free snorkel gear and kayaks, so I was constantly...
