"We had 3 lovely nights at Janine's apartment, and Janine was delightful to work with. The apartment was cozy, and it was only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Rouen. It was ideal to be so close to the city, yet in a quiet smaller area. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished nicely, very clean & tidy. We'd love to visit again! Thank you, Janine!"

"This hotel is extremely sketchy. The hallways and stairs are dirty. There is no control over the heating. The door locks are questionable. There is no hot water in the shower and it doesn't drain. It seems to be a hotel where many people are living."

"Excellent central location and great service from the reception desk. Very welcoming and provided us with a fan to enable us to sleep in the 27C October heatwave! Very surprised to find such a good hotel did not have AC. Liked the quirky lift. No parking attached to this hotel but if lucky you may score a street park or can park right over the road in an underground park."

"A trip to Normandy to celebrate my birthday, Le Grain d'Orge was all it promised to be. The welcome was warm, the cottage comfortable with plenty of space to cook, and the meals provided by Julie and served by her family were delicious. The weather was good as well. Would return again. Merci."
