Mamba Point is a great place to stay when you arw visiting Freetown. The staff are friendly, and well verse inactivties in the are,and proximity to Lumley is walking distance.

The rooms are really clean the sheets have a few stains but you can tell it’s from the dryer staff are nice only issue is reception closes at midnight and if you don’t stock up on water for the night before they leave you will have to wait until morning, or risk going outside at night to find it.

My husband and I had a fabulous night at Daltons on Banana Island! The boat that ferried us across was complimentary and while the waters were choppy, we felt perfectly safe. Dress appropriately as your clothing will likely get wet! Daltons is rustic and simple. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. The meals were simple but tasty. We took a tour of the Island and learned about the Portuguese and British use of the Island as a slaves holding station prior to the middle passage. All in all,...
