"The Chateau and its grounds are beautiful, though in a somewhat rustic, magnificently aged, sort of way. We really enjoyed lounging at the pool in a spectacularly scenic setting and biking around the grounds. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. Enjoying it is a key part of the French Chateau experience. We reserved a deluxe double room, but were upgraded to a higher category room because of a complication with the reservation. The room was very good, having all the amenities one might...

"This was a beautiful property, not far from the village, extremely classy and well appointed. Amazing head mistress and owner. If ever I am back I'd stay for a few more nights, can't say enough about this Phenomenal place"

"It was a wonderful time!"

La Plaine is in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed walking on the grand randonnee route which runs past the property. It was great to walk around the lake and see the wildlife, especially the beavers. A lovely place and we hope to...

"We stayed in Marie-Louise's house for one week and we've had a real wonderfull time. It's a clean, very spacious and well decorated place.. In the well equipped 'classic' kitchen you'll find literally everything you might possibly need. The beds are very comfortable. In the garden (which feels more like an estate) you'll find comfortable furniture and of course your own tennis court! OK, maybe the pool should not really bear the name but still you can cool down a bit if it's warm like during our...
