"Swimming pool out of action evening of stay"

"Comfortable room, lovely housekeeping staff. Disgusting that the car parking was not free for a hotel of this size with plenty of land. £13.50 for the car park that was a fair walk away and £25 for the underground parking "

"The bed in room 10m was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve had to endure in a long time. It was not only super hard it had ridges. And there is no desk in the room!! Since when does a king room not have a desk. For the price I paid I expect better- a lot better"

"The room was small but had everything we needed, it was clean and very warm. The staff were welcoming and helpful and check in was easy. Nice bar overlooking the prom and an excellent view of the pier. Food looked lovely although we did not eat there this time. Shops were very close, abundance of cafes and coffee shop within 2min walk. Second stay at the Marine Hotel will definitely be staying again"

"You used to get biscuits, a robe and water these are no longer supplied Also the breakfast was cold, the eggs hard, the bacon hard, the beans cold all items very low quality The staff at reception are rude"

"From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was tired and not worth the money."
