"WiFi wasn’t working. Repeatedly dropped connection and sign ins didn’t connect for any length of time. Unable to do any work. Bathroom was miserably small. Hard to close the door to use the toilet. Generally outdated but was very clean and well kept. Coffee was great"

"Traveling frequently to Eugene for college activities I have found that the Hayward is the best place to stay. Directly across from campus, walking distance to several varieties of restaurants, proximity to gas stations, safe and ample parking, and great customer service. The Hayward has it all. The staff has always been welcoming and excellent with whatever task they are undertaking. The rooms are fantastic, with lots of space to spread out and relax. Good beds. Best. Best. Best. "

"The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The air conditioner did not work and the room was extremely hot all night. The lighting system is being updated, is not working properly; this resulted in the room lights coming on randomly in the middle of the night, repeatedly waking me up. There were vagrants in the parking lot. Other than the odor, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. But overall, it was a terrible night's stay; I would never stay at this property again."

"I had a heart attack and in the process a tv remote broke the window let me pay 2 days later to stay a 5th night then kicked me out for the window that happened 2 days prior from my heart attack that they called 911 for me just crazy id like a refund this is crazy "

"Experience was top notch from check in to check out. Clean, pet-friendly (& approved, my Corgis are seasoned travelers and they settled right in), awesome retro vibe rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. We had a really early check out to get to the airport but there was still a good variety of items for breakfast before we left. "

"The fitted sheet on the bed had no elastic left and slipped off the mattress several times during the night. The ground floor room seemed to have a lot of traffic in the hallway. Also the road was noisy at times. I would stay there again but not on that side of the building. The room was too dark to read."
