"Très bien situé, le logement a tout pour satisfaire. La piscine est un gros avantage malgré que la plage soit au coin de la rue. Tout était parfait et les propriétaires très aidants et gentils."

"Belle villa sur les hauteurs du Diamant, offrant une belle balade facile d’accès à pied ou en voiture vers le centre-ville et la plage du Diamant. L'appartement a 2 chambres, une avec climatisation et l'autre avec un ventilateur. La literie est correcte, mais le protège-matelas est dur et glissant. La cuisine est plutôt sommaire, manque de matériel et de vaisselle, et présente une forte odeur d’humidité ainsi que le frigidaire qui fonctionne pas très bien. Le barbecue n'est pas pratique à utiliser dans notre appartement, alors que l'autre appartement disposait d'un Weber, mais le propriétaire n’a pas permis que nous l’empruntions alors qu'il n’y avait pas d'autres invités. La communication avec notre hôte était inexistante, et il y avait beaucoup de règles difficiles à se souvenir. En conclusion, l'emplacement est superbe, la villa est belle et la piscine est très appréciable, mais quelques petites attentions supplémentaires seraient nécessaires pour me donner envie de revenir."

Planette Diamante restaurant is great and reasonably priced. The ice cream parlour is the best I've been to There is a small supermarket and boulangerie both of which close on a Sunday Gladys was delightful and gave us a warm welcome The apartment is modern, clean and we cooked at there a couple of evenings We got about by foot mainly and occasionally by taxi A great week!"

"Many shortcomings: electrical hazards-plugins not secured to the wall, loose wire unsecured close to the sink, leaking tank in main floor bathroom.No toilet seat in loft bathroom. Property manager promised to get it repaired but never did. No instruction guide book on site containing wifi information, tv, operation of kitchen appliances garbage/recycle disposal. Although the kitchen has been recently updated, the rest of the apartment and the complex need a major facelift. Information should be provided upfront in property description re cleaning fees and security deposit and not provided 3 days before arrival by owner. The premium host (manager) was rude, insulting and aggressive in our dealings with him on day 2 of our stay as he was not present on our arrival. We would not recommend this property and closer scrutiny should be provided by VRBO."

"This is everything we could have asked for, and more. Spacious, well appointed, totally and completely comfortable. Pool is amazing, the outdoor shower, outdoor Lanai, a beautiful kitchen, it goes on and on! The bed is very comfortable, linens and towels feel like home, not a rental. Beautiful garden, surrounded by flowering shrubs and numerous species of birds. A little bullfinch couple will greet you the moment you bring food to the table. I would caution against feeding them, however, they are already a little too familiar! But the view! It is absolutely stunning! And our hosts are wonderful. This is a perfect place to experience the beauty of Martinique, the hospitality of the locals, and their wonderful adoption of French cuisine. Caveats; as others have mentioned, the driveway is precipitously steep. I actually measured 26°, (sorry, it's the engineer in me) that's over a 50% grade! If you are not comfortable with steep slopes, be prepared to walk up the hill. Yes, there are mosquitoes. If you are particularly sensitive to them, be prepared. They're much smaller, and I would say much sneakier than Canadian mosquitoes! That said, there is a lovely mosquito net on the bed which makes for a comfortable sleep. Just be sure you know how to close it properly! Privacy is good, more than sufficient, but not 100%, just in case that matters. Overall, however, I don't think I could imagine a better place to stay here, certainly not at this rate. I would absolutely return!"
