"This property exceeded our expectations. We hosted our son, his wife, and two grandsons. House instructions were clear and a well-organized binder gave us all the information we needed to explore the area. The lawn and grounds were immaculate and the kayaks were fun to use to explore the water including an expedition to the island in the middle of Kangaroo Lake. Location was great not just for Bailey's Harbor, but also Sister Bay."

"Rustic and cozy cabin a few miles south of Baileys Harbor, great base to explore Door County. Clean and well equipped, the communication with the host worked very well. The only thing to note was that despite having a note in the kitchen stating “you are on vacation, we won’t have a long list of checkout chores” the checkout list was actually quite extensive with stripping beds, collecting towels and starting laundry, starting dishwasher, taking out trash and wiping down the fridge. This was probably the most intense checkout list I have ever had, and I am frequently staying in rental units when I travel. Nevertheless, we had a good time and enjoyed exploring Door County."

"Excellent location!! House has a lot of character will keep everyone talking with the cool old items displayed in home. Only concern was a few things could have been cleaned better before our arrival but overall had a wonderful time. "

"Our friend group of 6 had a great stay at this property. Communication with the property manager was excellent, the property was spotless and exactly as pictured in the listing. We had a small issue with the heat not working upon arrival but the property manager responded quickly had the issue fixed within an hour. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor firepit area was the perfect spot to gather and relax with our friends. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of towels and blankets. Great location by the lake and only a 5 minute drive to Bailey’s Harbor. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The property is truly right on the lake. The view is amazing. The lake is literally a few steps down the back deck. I love the rock edge to the lake. No sand to drag in. The fire pit with wood is fabulous. The dock is great. Our dog loved playing in the lake. Plenty of room for a dog tether while you are outside. The house itself isn't bad, but could use a little more care. The kitchen has a very small amount of counter space. Kitchen table could use refinishing. There is a sort of musty order inside. Bring some Febreeze, it helps. More lighting would help in the living room and bedrooms. Those rooms are small so maybe smaller furniture in the bedroom with the queen size bed. Really needs some sort of bed side table on both sides of the bed. Rooms are dark so lightening them up would help and probably replace the carpeting. That might help with the musty smell also. "
