"We had a wonderful stay and the owners are wonderful. We had problems with Wifi that make it difficult to work. This would be fine for anyone who is just on vacation. The property is older and long steep stairs to the bedrooms could be challenging for older people and families with small children."

"Wir hatten wunderschöne 10 Tage in der Villa Vicilla. Ruhe, Sonne, Abkühlung im Pool und absolute Privatsphäre! Das einzige, was man aus der näheren Umgebung wahrnimmt, sind ein krähender Hahn und das Glockenbimmeln wenn die Ziegen von A nach B getrieben werden. Das Haus bzw. das komplette Grundstück sind in sehr gutem Zustand und schön eingerichtet."

"Die Unterkunft ist definitiv sehr stylisch, hat einen tollen Ausblick, der Pool ist groß und super schön. Es gibt genug Sonnenschirme und die überdachte Terasse ist super. Wir haben uns definitiv wohlgefühlt und würden auch wiederkommen. Allerdings gab es schon ein paar kleinere Dinge, die nicht perfekt waren. An manchen Stellen wurde eher oberflächlich sauber gemacht und generell gab es ein paar Stellen am Haus, die beim genaueren Hinsehen gerne etwas mehr „Liebe“ gesehen hätten - nichts schlimmes, aber manche Dinge hätte man bei Fotos etwas neuwertiger erwartet. Bspw. waren die Liegen aus Holz schon etwas marode und man konnte die Lehnen daher nicht mehr verstellen. Die Outdoor Küche war super - auch der Extra Kühlschrank draußen war top. Die Küche hat nur das nötigste da und zum Kochen für 10 Personen ist sie etwas sperlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit den Property Managern war super, wir hatten immer wieder Themen und diese wurden immer sofort gelöst. Die Villa liegt abgelegen, auf einem Berg und man erreicht sie über einen Schotterweg, ein Mietwagen ist daher sehr empfehlenswert, da laufen eher schwierig ist. Was man auf den Fotos auch nicht erkennen konnte, man hat ein direktes Nachbarshaus (ebenfalls Ferienhaus), es ist ein wenig versetz und man ist trotzdem sehr privat.Lage ist aber top, man ist in 5-10 Fahrminuten beim Strand, in einer kleinen Stadt und bei Supermärkten etc."

"Just back from a fabulous holiday at Marianna. Highly recommend. The villa was perfect and just as described with everything we needed and some lovely touches to welcome us on arrival - bunch of flowers, home-made cake and local olive oil! We were met on arrival, shown around, and given a very warm welcome indeed. George kept in touch throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Orchard was amazing! The villa was spotlessly clean, and cleaned 3 times during our stay with fresh linen and towels. The pool was brilliant, with some inflatables left by previous guests. Plenty of areas for much needed shade while the sun beds were comfy. Views of the mountains were stunning as was the evening sunset from one of the many balconies. Air con in each room was a godsend! Just the one local power cut during our 2 weeks which only lasted a few hours and George’s Son and Dad were soon on the case with, and kept us informed. Only a 15 mins walk into nearby Vryses village with 2 main restaurants, a beautiful bakery, and a few small supermarkets…and a much-frequented ice cream parlour! Our hire car was definitely needed (I’d say essential really) to venture further afield (highly recommend Georgiopolis for beach, shopping and restaurants for meals) plus larger supermarkets and the water park near Chania. We caught the bus from Vryses to Chania and Rethymnon a few times (buy tickets from the helpful man in the ‘bus station’ cafe on the main street!). Perfect villa for our 2 families x"

"The house was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was amazing—so helpful, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. We arrived late with our baby and were a little worried about getting settled, but the host had kindly provided fresh fruit and some groceries for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel so welcome. The villa was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. We had a truly amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I can’t recommend Venora Villas highly enough. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality—we would definitely stay here again!"

"A lovely villa with all the ameneties you could wish for. The garden is perfect for sitting in the sun or shade, with a great pool to cool down in. The villa is set back from the road through the village so is very peaceful. Politini is a wonderful host and made sure everything ran smoothly. And if you are wondering what the birds are that you can hear but not see in the orchard next door, a bird spotting app says they are peacocks."
