"We really loved our stay, the rooms are big and clean. The owners are very lovely people. Location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre. We could park our car near the hotel on the road. I'm in a wheelchair and the living room, bedroom and balcony are big. There are no bumps. The bathroom is small. I can walk a little bit, so I had no problem with it. But there is no room for the wheelchair in the bathroom.."

Villa Elia – Vacation villa with private pool in Vrisses, Crete

"We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Politini. Er stond drank in de frigo en een grote schotel met groenten en fruit. We hebben er lekkere spaghetti mee gemaakt. Ook een tros bananen lag er voor ons klaar. Politini kwam een paar keer langs om te zien of alles ok was en of we iets nodig hadden. Mijn man raakte opgesloten in de badkamer ‘s avonds laat maar de huisbaas kwam meteen ter plaatse en kon hem na een uur bevrijden. De huisbaas kwam ook regelmatig naar het zwembad kijken. Het was een leuk huis met gezelschap van mama poes en haar 4 kittens. Het zwembad was heerlijk in de mooi ingerichte tuin! ‘s avonds was het heerlijk rustig en je kon nooit genoeg krijgen van het fantastische uitzicht! Als God het beliefd komen we zeker nog eens terug. Bedankt voor alles Politini ❤️ De 6 uit België"

"Beautiful villa. There are two on the grounds but both very private with their own pool and parking, so very independent. The location is a bit remote, you can walk to vyrses but easy to get about to chania or south etc. Georgioupoli is close by and there is a nice beach Kalyvaki but for snorkeling it's best to go south or west. Overall a great villa, had everything you need."

"We had a wonderful stay and the owners are wonderful. We had problems with Wifi that make it difficult to work. This would be fine for anyone who is just on vacation. The property is older and long steep stairs to the bedrooms could be challenging for older people and families with small children."

"Die Unterkunft ist definitiv sehr stylisch, hat einen tollen Ausblick, der Pool ist groß und super schön. Es gibt genug Sonnenschirme und die überdachte Terasse ist super. Wir haben uns definitiv wohlgefühlt und würden auch wiederkommen. Allerdings gab es schon ein paar kleinere Dinge, die nicht perfekt waren. An manchen Stellen wurde eher oberflächlich sauber gemacht und generell gab es ein paar Stellen am Haus, die beim genaueren Hinsehen gerne etwas mehr „Liebe“ gesehen hätten - nichts schlimmes, aber manche Dinge hätte man bei Fotos etwas neuwertiger erwartet. Bspw. waren die Liegen aus Holz schon etwas marode und man konnte die Lehnen daher nicht mehr verstellen. Die Outdoor Küche war super - auch der Extra Kühlschrank draußen war top. Die Küche hat nur das nötigste da und zum Kochen für 10 Personen ist sie etwas sperlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit den Property Managern war super, wir hatten immer wieder Themen und diese wurden immer sofort gelöst. Die Villa liegt abgelegen, auf einem Berg und man erreicht sie über einen Schotterweg, ein Mietwagen ist daher sehr empfehlenswert, da laufen eher schwierig ist. Was man auf den Fotos auch nicht erkennen konnte, man hat ein direktes Nachbarshaus (ebenfalls Ferienhaus), es ist ein wenig versetz und man ist trotzdem sehr privat.Lage ist aber top, man ist in 5-10 Fahrminuten beim Strand, in einer kleinen Stadt und bei Supermärkten etc."

"Just back from a fabulous holiday at Marianna. Highly recommend. The villa was perfect and just as described with everything we needed and some lovely touches to welcome us on arrival - bunch of flowers, home-made cake and local olive oil! We were met on arrival, shown around, and given a very warm welcome indeed. George kept in touch throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Orchard was amazing! The villa was spotlessly clean, and cleaned 3 times during our stay with fresh linen and towels. The pool was brilliant, with some inflatables left by previous guests. Plenty of areas for much needed shade while the sun beds were comfy. Views of the mountains were stunning as was the evening sunset from one of the many balconies. Air con in each room was a godsend! Just the one local power cut during our 2 weeks which only lasted a few hours and George’s Son and Dad were soon on the case with, and kept us informed. Only a 15 mins walk into nearby Vryses village with 2 main restaurants, a beautiful bakery, and a few small supermarkets…and a much-frequented ice cream parlour! Our hire car was definitely needed (I’d say essential really) to venture further afield (highly recommend Georgiopolis for beach, shopping and restaurants for meals) plus larger supermarkets and the water park near Chania. We caught the bus from Vryses to Chania and Rethymnon a few times (buy tickets from the helpful man in the ‘bus station’ cafe on the main street!). Perfect villa for our 2 families x"

Villa Faye -Vacation villa with panoramic views in Crete, Greece

"This is an absolute gem of a villa. We are a family of six, stayed for ten days and enjoyed every minute. The villa is beautiful and has been restored very thoughtfully by its owners, with lots of space for everyone to do their own thing if wanted. The pool was lovely, a great temperature and the perfect depth for lots of pool games! A highlight for me was morning coffee (from the fancy coffee maker!) or evening wine on the top terrace, which gives amazing views of the surrounding countryside and mountains - so relaxing. It was very hot whilst we were there but every room except the top lounge is air conditioned so there was always respite from the heat. On arrival we discovered the air conditioning was broken in our bedroom, we contacted the owner (who was lovely) and by the next afternoon we had a brand new unit installed - incredible service. The villa is within walking distance to Vrysses which is a great little town with lots of bars and restaurants and a couple of little supermarkets which have all the basics you need. We have stayed in a lot of villas over the years but we all agreed Villa Faye easily made the top three for us all and we would not hesitate to stay there again. A perfect holiday - thank you!"

"Das Haus war wunderbar genau wie beschrieben . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Beschreibung zum Haus hat uns sehr geholfen alles leicht zu finden .Der Pool war super groß und man konnte morgens seine bahnen schwimmen.Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft . In dem kleinen Dorf unten gab es das beste essen und die Menschen waren super freundlich. Wenn man die Natur mag und etwas Ruhe ist das der richtige Platz seine Seele baumeln zu lassen .Mit freundlichen Grüßen Familie Baczynski "
