The property is about 20mins walk from Pinhao, and getting a taxi from the station is recommended if you are coming by train as there is quite a hill. The room was comfortable and well maintained. "This property was spectacular!!! I when we were driving over the bridge and spotted the hotel, I was soooo excited. The location on the river is beautiful. We had a king bed, beautiful Bathroom, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the river and the bridge as the backdrop. Breakfast is included and spectacular. The staff is very helpful and informative. They booked our tours and dinners. I wish I had one more day to just stay at the hotel and enjoy all of the amenities."

"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. Coming in September or October during the winemaking season would be fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable and helpful"
