"The Inn was very clean and the property is well maintained. The staff did an excellent job making sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is centrally located to restaurants, battlefield and gift shops. I would have liked a pool, but I was so busy I don’t know if I would have used it! This will be my hotel of choice from now on."

"I have stayed in hotels at all levels, and though I would certainly not call this one luxurious (the carpet could stand to be replaced, the paint to be refreshed), I give it a five-star rating nonetheless for its excellent customer service. The young man at the desk when I checked in, Jordan K., helped me out when Hotels.com/Expedia would not, going to some trouble to make sure that I and my friend were given our rooms with a minimum of hassle. While he dealt with the paperwork for my issue, he greeted new guests and pointed out the amenities to them. He was polite, professional, and friendly to everyone. Rarely have I been so impressed! For other travelers: Yes, the hotel is a little run-down, and there is no breakfast. (A sign at the desk suggests some nearby restaurant options.) But it is close to downtown Harrisburg (and charges a reasonable fee for overnight parking), the beds are very comfortable, and the staff is awesome. (The woman working the next morning was also extremely pleasant and polite.) I would and will stay here again."
