The continental breakfast was absolutely adequate and free, so great value. Room facilities were adequate as well and the bathroom was great with plenty of hot water and shower get, shampoo etc.. Great location, free parking right outside and nearby. Highlight was The Donard being so dog friendly and dog welcoming. Definitely now my place of choice to stay when we visit Newcastle. "

"Nice large room in a modern hotel in a decent location. Only downside was that we were in a room that had an interconnecting door (not in use) and the acoustics were terrible, we could hear the next rooms conversation as if it was in our room. Thankfully they/we were out most of the time, but I wish we’d asked to move rooms when we arrived (by the time we realised we’d already unpacked and got settled). Better sound proofing on the interconnecting doors is needed."
