"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Great for solo travelers, while rooms are small they're strategically outfitted with hooks, shelves, and under bed storage. Shared bathroom was clean and other guests kept to themselves in common areas. The Jane is a great deal and a safe place to stay if you plan to be out in the city all day! "

"Beautiful hotel, great features for us. We loved: The vicinity to EVERYTHING! The grab and go breakfast The onsite food/beverage options The staff. And every single one we encountered was kind, talkative, and really helpful! The valet and parking. -The parking is fairly priced BUT you can park for 24 hours. We checked out, stored our luggage and went and did the hop on hop off bus before we went back and got our car and luggage to head out. The only negative: We had been awake nearly 36 hours and unfortunately that was apparently window washing night, two hours after we fell asleep, we were woken up by power washers, very loud noises, movement as well as a person/people outside of our window. The hotel was very apologetic and I realize this was just an unfortunate event. All in all, great stay! We will be back! "
