At first we weren't sure if we were entering the lobby or an antique shop but once we were inside we were greeted warmly, our suitcase was whisked upstairs using an ingenious rope pulley, and we were immediately immersed in a place where every single piece of decor was clearly carefully considered to fit within the antique style. Despite the old school surrounds, there were modern comforts like air conditioning, and every part of the hotel was also spotlessly...

The location is good for exploring George Town on foot and can also use Grab to get around easily. Don't expect the same finish/quality of furnishing/toiletries etc as a 5* hotel (why would you at this price?!) But do expect great service and a pleasant stay."
