"Can’t say enough about this hotel. What a great experience. Traveling with our dog, the dog even got welcome gifts! Door people, front desk, bar/restaurant, housekeeping…all were just so friendly. The daily complimentary drinks/snacks was well organized as was the amazing breakfast. The room was very nicely appointed and clean. The extensive morning breakfast was awesome, even a nitro coffee machine! The hotel is also very nicely located walkable to all of Madison. Great restaurants nearby, the capital building to tour (a must), the nearby lakes. Would definitely stay again."

Hampton Inn & Suites Madison / Downtown

"At first, the cost of the hotel was in question. But after biting the bullet, the Hampton inn was worth every penny. The indoor swim facilities and Jacuzzi with decent hours was a hit. 24 hour coffee and tea station was amazing. The Continental breakfast had all the normal givings of your "well rounded" American breakfast, with a wide variety of cereals, oatmeal, eggs, protein, potatoes, waffles and juices. The hotel was in the perfect vicinity and our room was spacious enough to even have our extended family briefly convene together."

"Excellent location & beautiful view. The building has been renovated well. The layout is appreciated compared to a hotel room. The noise travels between walls & floors/ceilings, which is difficult for light sleepers. The rooms are windowless, so if you like it dark this is your place. The beds were firm & comfortable. The kitchen well stocked & easy to utilize. We tried to use the washer /dryer, but the dryer malfunctioned & the staff were lacking in responsiveness. They could have allowed us to use the dryer in lower level free of charge, but only called a maintenance man who took too long to arrive as we were checking out. Overall a good place to stay."
