And a lovely breakfast. On checkout day we were able to use the lounge until we left 👍 the view from the room (2331) was simply stunning."

The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. There is a food pavilion with small restaurants and bars with live entertainment and TV's for sports in the lower courtyard. The MRT is a short walk. "Great location but could be noisy in the early evening hours. Close to train stations and Chinatown. Walking distance to many Food Centers. This is a pretty old hotel but reasonably clean and the hotel rate is fair for Singapore. The staffs are friendly. The complementary in room bar is stocked daily with snacks and drinks including beer. There’s even fresh fruits in the hotel lobby."

"Excellent stay at the Novotel Clark Quay. Such a handy location. You have the Metro behind the hotel. Walk across the road and you have your choice of over 30 restaurants & bars. But be warned, many don't open before 5pm. So make sure you book breakfast at the hotel. You can do a river cruise and see some of the sights by water. If walking is your thing, then straight out of the hotel and you can do an amazing walk along the river side, amazing photo opportunities along the way & Raffles is not...
