"We were upgraded to a very nice room overlooking the beach. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our stay included breakfast and dinner- excellent food. Drake Bay is a remote area so it was nice to have everything provided by the hotel. When we took a day tour to Corcovado National Park, the boat picked us up at the beach in front of the hotel. "

"What a special place! We arrived in the surf, to be greeted by Dylan and his staff who grabbed our bags and suitcases and brought them up to the room. There is no air conditioning, but the screened "ceiling" openings (really, up on the wall) let in enough air to cool you down sufficiently. "The view was amazing, and the place was well-equipped with all the amenities you could need—especially for the beach and cooking.The only suggestion I would make is improving ant control. Also, adding steps down to the ocean would make this property truly exceptional."
