"Lovely stay. Elaine greeted me and made me feel at home showing me around. Had a walk around the waterside. Good night sleep, especially for catching the ferry (15 min drive) to Belfast. Breakfast was either cereals and yogurt or a cooked one to order. Definitely recommend a stay here."

"Impressed from the minute we arrived. Checking in was easy with help offered to get luggage from car. Wow the room view was exceptional. Town/sea views. Meal was exquisite. Staff very professional but friendly chatty if you asked anything. Restaurant views amazing. Breakfast was great. Nothing was to much trouble. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay."

"Helensdale is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the living room are incredible, I always take binoculars with me wherever I go as I enjoy bird watching (there are some binoculars in the property) and looking out on the bay was fantastic. I saw an array of birds and even managed to see 2 seals and a porpoise. Also on a clear day you can see the coastline of Northern Ireland. The property is very comfortable and clean and is quite deceptive space wise. Big kitchen with sun room and big living room. Bathrooms and bedrooms are also a good size. Highly recommended. "
