"If you’re looking for a safari-like experience that is beautiful and comfortable and will give you the real Costa Rican jungle experience then Mawamba is for you. We can’t wait to return to Mawamba!"

"We booked tours with the hotel. The guides are very good. During the boat tour, Luis was spotting animals quickly. We also enjoyed the nightly turtle tour. You have to buy a permit to enter the national park yourself- ask them about it when you check in (or anytime before the tour starts)"

"If you'd like to stay in a very quiet place (retreat) with excellent service and delicious food, this is your place."
