"You need a car or use another form of transportation. We used Uber to get around. There are nice restaurants in the area, beaches are beautiful. It was too wavy to swim in May."

Definitely recommend. A quick note. Transportation by boat is very difficult after hours. While the staff was able to connect us with a private transfer, it took alot of communication. "

"We had an amazing time at El Encanto. Our room was comfortable and well outfitted, breakfast (and dinner) was tasty, the pools were great and the service was helpful and friendly. Our unexpected favorite part of the experience was the nature you could see from within the hotel walls - sloths (2)!, monkeys, frogs, iguanas and lots of birds. A great combo of luxury and nature.
