"Our stay here was everything we needed and more for an adventurous week with friends. The open kitchen and living area with the pool was a great community space and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The host, Mary, was incredible and made us feel right at home. An added bonus was a fully stocked kitchen and a huge family table, great for cooking meals in. The place was just on the edge of Puerto Viejo, which made it convenient but also quiet. Would book here again, 10/10!"

"Beautiful house and property tucked right in the jungle, with direct beach access. Very close to Punta Uva which has great swimming and surfing for kids. Easy drive to Puerto Viejo for restaurants. Super clean, very well maintained, good A/C. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive - they organized a private driver from SJO to the house, and then to the car rental the next day. Highly recommend!"

We loved waking up each morning to the howler monkeys putting on their show right in front of us in the trees. We watched a sloth for several days as well as did some hiking. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. "Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights and extremely helpful :)"
