"The view from the balcony was the most beautiful I've ever seen, it was completely unobstructed and went on forever in every direction. Both pools and hot tubs were clean and blue, utterly gorgeous. The room was large and the furniture and linens were very high quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and Luka in their a la carte restaurant was a real gem. We LOVED everything about our stay from start to finish. The drive to Split was around 45 minutes, totally manageble, and coming back to such a wonderful space made it well worth it. We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Plaza Duce, it was by far the loveliest hotel we ever stayed at. My only mistake was not staying longer. Thank you Hotel Plaza Duce for an unforgettable few days 💕 "

"Great hotel right on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place is kept spotlessly clean. Nice touches too like free beach towels and the ability to book the spa area (sauna and hot tub) for an hour at a time for free, which meant that you got private use. We were there for a week and would definitely recommend. "

"The apartment has mostly positive points, I will highlight things I would have wanted to know before I went so I could make an informed decision. It was not clear on Expedia that this is a cash payment apartment, no credit cards, we did not realise but the host was happy for a cash bank transfer for our stay. The apartment was clean, modern, spacious and had everything you need, comfortable beds, good WiFi and smart TV’s, washing machine, and a fully fitted kitchen. Nice balcony with view of church and river, sun trap in the morning, no sun in the afternoon. The host was friendly and very responsive. Free and safe parking The shutters on the windows are not black out as advertised and when the building behind had their carpark lights on overnight it shined through the bedroom window. This is an expanding area and as such there is noisy, dusty building works happening next door throughout the day. Then finally the churches, they were obviously there before this building, but the bells ring very loudly all day long, on the hour and half past the hour, until 10.30pm ish. The call to pray starts at 6am every morning (bells ring continuously for several minutes) the same again at 10pm. We were out most of the day but have this early wake up call every morning would be the only reason why we wouldn’t stay again. This might not bother others , but to be aware before you go is useful. Overall we loved Croatia and would visit again "

"Great time with family and friends, it was a great set up, every room has its own bathroom and balcony, super view, great check in, we were welcomed with snacks with the table made. full equiped kitchen, great play room, garage for 2 cars, easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. Thank you again Sanya!"

"Villa Kantarion is a beautiful property excellently situated. Igor - the owner - was fantastic and very understanding about our later than scheduled arrival due to a delayed flight. He was at the property waiting for us with a warm welcome. He was also super helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property and send thanks to Igor for a wonderful holiday. The four double bedrooms are all en suite with an additional bathroom / downstairs WC. The kitchen is well equipped and has pretty much everything you will need cater for yourselves. An additional oven shelf would have been useful but this is by no means a criticism. The pool is fantastic and a great way to enjoy a relaxing day. The beach is only a few minutes walk away and provides lots of fun and activities for all the family, There are several supermarket options in the nearby town of Omis and these are walkable. Omis is a lovely town to visit for excursions along the river Cetina or to head out on a boat to the island of Brac. "

"Villa Parsella is a stunning villa. The views are incredible and the two little cats were very sweet. The location is great and the beach is perfect with access to several restaurants and a great selection of watersports. There is a small supermarket a 2 minute walk away and a larger supermarket which was a 5 minute drive. The supermarkets are very expensive though so you will need to budget for that. Omis is a wonderful town with beauty and a real buzz. We did the water rafting which was a brilliant afternoon. There are numerous companies who offer the rafting - we went with Croatia Rafting and they were great. The owners were always very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the Villa and the location. Thank you so much. "

"Nives’ property in Duće is an absolute gem.Very spacious, immaculately clean and has everything you may want and more.A stone’s throw from the beach and a small harbour where you can rent a powerboat or other water craft and visit the many sites on the coast of the island of Brac too.Omiš is a short drive and this charming historic town has a plethora of fantastic places to eat and other more adventurous activities. Would highly recommend the rafting.Would highly recommend."

Disadvantages were- towel charge if you wanted more than 1, specifically requested for a double bed but got two twins pushed together, €10 daily charge for parking, pool small, no tea or coffee station in room and breakfast options are more limited than other hotels stayed in"
